After returning from our holiday in Hong Kong, and uploading the photos stored on our Macbook Air to my Linux desktop, I was determined to dump Mac OSX once and for all, and install Linux on it instead (as the sole O/S - because of the need for a large amount of disk-space to store photos temporarily whilst on holiday, I can't fit two O/Ses on at once).
